Sports Performance

Core Training for Throwers Program

One of the most neglected areas of the body in training also happens to be one of the most important.

Whether you play football, baseball, softball, volleyball or throw javelin, development of the core will help you as an athlete to make gains in balance, coordination, agility, strength, power and endurance. Control of the core will allow you to move faster, change directions quicker, be more explosive and become a better athlete.

Rehab to Return Sports Training Program

OrthoKansas, P.A. now provides an intensive and properly directed 4-week Rehab To Return transition program, focusing on conditioning, endurance, flexibility and agility.

Often times, not all insurance payers cover conditioning and endurance improvement for patients who have sustained an athletic injury, which leaves the athlete on their own to get themselves back into shape. Without the guidance and direction of a staff knowledgeable of the athlete's injury, the athlete and their coach often find that the athlete is not at the level of conditioning or endurance necessary to return to their sport at optimal performance.

* Baseline Assessment Test to determine appropriate conditioning level
* Vertimax System used by many college and professional teams and athletes
* Exercise Pool variable water resistance turbine

Whether you're a competitive or recreational athlete, the Rehab to Return program will get you back in the game of life!
